I saved seats for a few friends who were arriving late, only one seat I was allowed to keep because the ushers were having everyone scoot over. Then they wouldn’t allow me to save a seat. Being able to stand up and take responsibility for potentially harmful words spoken is an extremely admirable trait.For context the week after had made some comments about nursing mothers he got up the next week at all three services and apologized for the comments he made. So to anyone who feels like Pastor Joby should be perfect in everything he says please... those without sin cast the first stone. He made a poor joke, but unashamedly preaches the word of God week in and week out and has some of the most love filled yet convicting sermons Ive ever heard.In short, if you want to hear sermons that balance humor with the love of God while not shying away from Gods judgement then this is the church for you.

Everybody is welcome here and they always have a nice sermon it wont put you to sleep. This church is more like people relating to one another which is what I like about it the most and its very clean and spacious. Just an overall great experience.

Comment: I love my church! The Bible is preached plainly, Jesus is the focus, and people are loved greatly. Everyone is allowed to be real, allowed to admit they arent perfect. This is a place I felt very comfortable, come as you are with most people, including pastuer Joby, wore jeans, or shorts. The message was clear, it was fun, it was not all dressed up like a stage show, there was not even a collection passed around or mentioned. There were just drop boxes at the rear. I really felt a great connection. I will be back.

Been coming here since it started and its the best by far. Weve tried a lot of churches over the years and the formal, incense waving, chanting services are just not for us. Comment: Im not overly religious by any means. I dont even go that often, but what I enjoy about coming here is Jobys sermons. I enjoy the way he talks, presents himself, his discussions, conversations, and his jokes. Believe it or not discussing the bible and morals is fun with him. Something I never thought Id say. Ive even gone back to listen to some of his sermons on their Vimeo account. I specifically enjoy the Song of Solomon series. Ive learned a lot in the short time Ive gone here. Good community, clean environment, and big following. Theyve grown to over 5,000 followers since 2008 and have multiple services throughout Sunday and the week.I do think the overall experience could be improved a little. I think they could cut out 1 or 2 songs from the beginning and run at least 15 minutes shorter on the sermon length. Other than that though its pretty fun. Take it from someone thats not overly religious... I enjoy coming here.

Comment: Pastor Joby keeps it 100 and his wife does too. They talk about all of the bible and let you know that they arent perfect, and they know they wont ever be, but God loves us anyways. I actually moved to San Diego, CA. And havent been able to find a church as good as eleven22 , so I listen or watch online. I think that says a lot of the preaching of this church. Im Navy, 23 years old, but I get the message of this church. Like they talk about God and read the bible in ways we all can understand and theyre pretty funny too, and I like that. I love this church. Couldnt stand Florida, but I wold choose orders out there again just to be able to attend this church in person again.They preach about what the bible says and I think thats needed in todays world where everybody is so afraid to offend anybody. I dont think theyre hateful at all, I just think they go off of what the bible says. So if youre gay, fornicating, lying, cheating, stealing... And dont want to be reminded that it isnt okay... This probably isnt the church for you. Like I said before, they go over ALL of the bible, not just the parts that are convenient for you.
